After spending much of the last few months building and cultivating her distinctive direction, Montréal-based newcomer Libby Ember is now looking to introduce herself to the wider world with her wondrous debut single 'Alibi'.
Channelling a wonderfully warm and emotive acoustic-led aesthetic for her initial outing, 'Alibi' makes for a beautifully rich and immersive introduction to her sound so far. With its broad and shimmering textures, lofty atmosphere, and her own emotive vocals layered throughout, she is kicking things off with a wildly enjoyable opening number here.
While it may be her only piece of material so far, 'Alibi' shows she already has a strong and commanding grasp over her direction right now. With such a fresh and captivating approach to her songwriting throughout, we can't wait to hear what she comes back with next.
