The Libertines previewed Gunnersbury Park show with intimate Bush Hall warm-up

Indie legends The Libertines delivered a storming warm-up performance at Bush Hall last Thursday night (31st July), giving fans a taste of the magic they'll unleash at their highly anticipated Gunnersbury Park show this Saturday (9th August). The cozy Shepherd's Bush venue was electric as Pete Doherty and Carl Barât led the band through a career-spanning 16-track set that had the intimate crowd singing every word to anthems like 'Boys In The Band', 'What Katie Did', 'Can't Stand Me Now', and 'Don't Look Back Into The Sun'.

Saturday's Gunnersbury Park spectacular represents the grand finale of The Libertines' 2025 world tour, which has taken them from UK stages to European festivals, across to Mexico and Australia, and memorably onto the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2025. Throughout this extensive run, they've been championing their chart-topping album 'All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade', which hit number one in the UK charts following its April 2024 release.

The west London park will transform into indie rock paradise this weekend, with The Libertines curating a stellar supporting cast for their homecoming celebration. Britpop royalty Supergrass will bring their own catalogue of classics as main support, while the diverse lineup spans generations with Soft Play's punk energy, London's own Hak Baker representing the capital's rap scene, breakthrough act Lambrini Girls, and Real Farmer completing the bill.

With gates opening at 13:00 and The Libertines taking command at 20:20, the outdoor extravaganza promises to be a fitting send-off for one of Britain's most beloved indie bands after months on the road. If Thursday's Bush Hall showing was anything to go by – where the band looked revitalised and razor-sharp – Saturday's park performance could be something truly special.
