Love Rock explore the electricity of a connection that disappears almost as quickly as it arrives on their debut single ‘Flash of an Instant’.
Created by Pétur Blöndal Magnason and Sveinung Fossan Bukve, the project combines organic instrumentation with electronic elements, using that contrast to explore memories, longing and moments that prove impossible to hold onto.
‘Flash of an Instant’ focuses specifically on a brief encounter between two people, capturing the attraction and tension that emerge alongside an instinct to resist what is happening. But rather than stretching the experience into something larger, the song concentrates on the intensity contained within that single moment.
The track also features Anja Bere on vocals and Stian Brungot on bass, with music composed by Magnason and Bukve and lyrics written by the latter. Oscar Lawson handled the mix, while mastering comes from Jordan Power.
