Following the rapturous response to their much-loved 'II' EP late last year, Seattle-based outfit Map Of The Woulds are back on the grind once again to deliver their breezy new single 'The Old Songs'.
Capturing more of that rich and lofty indie-rock aesthetic they are known for, 'The Old Songs' makes for an incredibly warm and emotive return for them. With its broad and shimmering textures, sweeping atmosphere, and stellar hooks layered throughout, they return to us with one of their more impactful efforts to date here.
While they have certainly left a lasting impression on the scene in recent years, 'The Old Songs' shows they are still brimming with plenty of fresh and exciting ideas in which to explore. With such a firm and focused approach to their sound once again, we can't wait to hear what else they have in store for us in the months ahead as well.
