After recently returning with her stunning comeback single 'No Caffeine' last month, Marika Hackman has now announced her plans for a new studio album, arriving early next year.
The new full-length 'Big Sigh' marks her first LP since 2019's 'Any Human Friend', is being previewed by the new lead single 'Hanging', and is set to be released on the 12th January via Chrysalis Records.
Speaking about the new offering, she said, “Hanging is reflecting on a difficult past relationship and how you can trap yourself in a situation where you’re unable to grow into the next stage of your life. The line ‘yeah you were a part of me, i'm so relieved it hurts’ is describing how painful it still is to break up even if it's not right.”
