Marika Hackman announces new album 'False Dogs'

British singer-songwriter Marika Hackman returns with a beautifully introspective new single '33', alongside the announcement of her highly anticipated fifth studio album 'False Dogs', arriving on the 19th February 2027 via Chrysalis Records.

Exploring the complicated emotions of growing older, ‘33’ finds Hackman reflecting on the distance between her teenage years and the uncertainties of adulthood, transforming nostalgia, anxiety and self-discovery into a deeply affecting musical statement.

Featuring a children's choir representing an internal voice urging her forward, the track captures the emotional tension between longing for the past and confronting an unpredictable future.

Written, arranged and produced entirely by herself, 'False Dogs' promises her most personal collection yet, exploring the beauty and disillusionment of life in her mid-thirties.
