Metronomy announce 10th anniversary edition of 'Nights Out'

Having spent the last few months working towards their sixth studio album these past few months, Metronomy have now announced their plans to rerelease their seminal sophomore album 'Nights Out' to celebrate its tenth anniversary next year.

The new version of the classic full-length will arrive with a bunch of unreleased material, which includes demos, rarities and b-sides as well as a bedtime dub version of ‘Holiday’ and a French version of the single ‘Heartbreaker’, will be available from the 8th February via Because Music.

Speaking about the new revamp, frontman Joe Mount explained, “Oscar reminded me the other day how I said to him on completing Radio Ladio ‘I think I’ve just written my first number 1’. I hadn’t. We also reminisced about the day we borrowed the Honda Insight for the album artwork: I found the owner on an enthusiasts chat room, we gave his daughter two Kate Nash tickets and a meet and greet with Kate in exchange for a few shots with the vehicle… simpler times. Shout out to Myspace.”

You can revisit their brilliant anthem 'A Thing For Me' in the player and see the new tenth anniversary tracklist below.
