London outfit Monday’s Monsoon return with 'Something New', a heartfelt and richly textured single that captures the uneasy vulnerability of learning to trust love again after emotional damage.
The track explores the fragile transition between surviving a toxic relationship and cautiously stepping into something healthier. Rather than leaning into grand melodrama, 'Something New' finds its strength in emotional honesty, gradually unfolding from uncertainty into quiet acceptance and connection.
Musically, the band continue refining their atmospheric sound, drawing influence from artists such as Elbow, Fink and Radiohead. Organic instrumentation, layered arrangements and intimate songwriting give the single a warm, cinematic quality throughout.
With praise already coming from former Elbow drummer Richard Jupp, who described the band’s songwriting as deeply intimate and emotionally resonant, 'Something New' feels like another major step forward for Monday’s Monsoon as they continue building momentum across the UK live circuit.
