Mura Masa and WSTRN first named on BBC's Sound Of 2016 poll

New year, new sounds; as the BBC begins its breakdown of acts it thinks will be taking the industry by storm in the next 12 months, and it seems this year's list is off to an unconventional start.

Both producer Mura Masa (pictured) and hip-hop collective WSTRN have been named in fifth place on this year's BBC Sound Of 2016 poll, meaning that we already have an extra name in this year's top 5.

The BBC will be announcing their final countdown, one day at a time throughout this week on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show, with the number 1 being announced on Friday 8th January. You can watch 'Mura Masa' performing his track ‘Lovesick Fuck’ for the beeb in the player below.
