MY BABY deliver new studio album 'sake sake sake'

Having spent the last few years developing and cultivating a wonderfully broad and adventurous sound, Dutch outfit MY BABY have returned once again to deliver their technicolour new album 'sake sake sake'.

Teaming up with five-time Grammy Award-winning Steve Dub (Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Daft Punk) for the release, 'sake sake sake' sees them take their bold and diverse direction to ever-new heights. Blending an eclectic mix of psychedelic, dream-pop and trip-hop influences throughout, this new endeavour makes for one of their most hypnotic offerings to date.

Speaking about their work with Dub, frontwoman Cato Van Dyck explained, “Steve's experience and knowledge of a wide range of styles and his love for cutting edge music immediately felt a great match with what we wanted to achieve with our songs”.

While the record has an air of 90s nostalgia running through it, there is also something refreshing and contemporary about 'sake sake sake' as well. The trio have been building this direction over the last few years, and this new collection has an extremely compelling quality to it, which will no doubt serve them well as they plan to return to the road again very soon.
