Maryland rock outfit No Drinks For Jimmy reconnect with their modern-rock roots on ‘Broken’, a powerful new single built around fractured relationships, rock bottom and the difficult business of picking yourself back up.
Their first new single of 2026, the track brings together the band's love of muscular 90s and 2000s rock with huge guitars, pounding rhythms and an impassioned performance from vocalist Kurt Lobdell. Shades of Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World and Stone Temple Pilots run through its DNA, but ‘Broken’ carries enough emotional weight and melodic firepower to make an identity of its own.
Perhaps most impressive is how the song came together. Band members Dan Wilson, Doug Wilson, Joe Chichetti and Lobdell recorded their respective parts remotely across Maryland, Arizona, Florida and North Carolina, before handling the entire mixing and mastering process themselves.
