"'Hold Me' came together pretty quickly—we were playing around with the main riff as a band in a bedroom and it just clicked," the band explains. "Lyrically it's about wanting someone to stay, even when you're not exactly making it easy for them. We didn't overthink it—it's raw and urgent, and we wanted it to feel like it was barely holding itself together, which felt right for the title."
This controlled chaos gives the track an authentic energy that many overly-produced indie records lack.
