After spending much of the last few months building and cultivating their sound, York-based duo The Pennydrops are now introducing themselves to the wider world with their captivating debut single 'Nightblindness'.
Channelling a wonderfully warm and emotive indie-folk aesthetic for their initial offering, 'Nightblindness' makes for a dazzling introduction to their sound so far. With its warm and lofty textures, shimmering atmosphere, and some mesmerising vocals layered throughout, they are kicking things off with a wildly enjoyable opening number here.
While their journey may have only just gotten started, 'Nightblindness' shows they already have a strong and commanding grasp over their direction right now. Brimming with warmth and vigour throughout their songwriting, we can't wait to hear what else they have been working on as well.
