Pip Blom announce new EP 'Grip'

Amsterdam indie trio Pip Blom have announced their new EP 'Grip', set for release on the 6th June. Leading the charge is vibrant new single 'Ring', offering the first taste of the band’s boldest shift yet.

Building on the synth-pop explorations of their acclaimed album 'Bobbie', 'Ring' finds the band diving deeper into dance-infused textures, with glitchy synths and shimmering washes giving way to their signature indie hooks and emotionally resonant lyrics. It’s also their first fully independent release, self-written and recorded by Pip Blom, Tender Blom, and Darek Mercks in Pip’s home studio.

Lyrically, 'Grip' is anchored in vulnerability, reflecting Pip’s search for stability during a personally turbulent year. “I started to notice how much I craved to find some sort of grip,” she shares. “Life is very unpredictable.”
