Following on from the release of her Grammy-nominated 2016 LP 'The Hope Six Demolition Project', PJ Harvey has now announced her plans for a new studio album, arriving in the coming months.
The new full-length 'I Inside The Old Year Dying' is being previewed by the new lead single 'A Child's Question, August', which comes accompanied by a new Steve Gullick-directed video, and is set to be released on the 7th July via her new home on Partisan Records.
Speaking about the new offering, she said, “I think the album is about searching, looking - the intensity of first love, and seeking meaning. Not that there has to be a message, but the feeling I get from the record is one of love – it’s tinged with sadness and loss, but it’s loving. I think that's what makes it feel so welcoming: so open.”
