After following up his much-loved 2023 LP 'Common Country Misconceptions' with the stunning double A-side single 'Snow / Hailstone' late last year, Irish singer-songwriter Podge Lane is now back for the new year with his shimmering new delight 'Down'.
Bringing back more of that warm and initing indie-rock aesthetic he has been developing since he first emerged, 'Down' makes for a brilliantly bold and infectious return to form. With its swaggering grooves, lofty atmosphere, and his own impactful vocals at the helm, he is returning to the fold with one of his most tantalising offerings to date.
While this past year was one of his busiest on record, 'Down' still manages to make a lasting impression on his ever-growing repertoire right now. With such a vibrant approach to his songwriting once again, we can't wait to hear what else he has in store for us in the months ahead as well.
