Refused unveil 'Elektra', their first new material in 17 years

The story of Refused has been an erratic one to say the least. After years of breaking up, making up, reunion tours and in-band bust-ups, the band finally look like they've settled down and released their first piece of new material in 17 years.

The new track 'Elektra' is exactly the explosive return all their fans would have wanted, and is the first track to be lifted from their forthcoming album 'Freedom', expected on the 29th June through Epitaph Records.

Refused will return to the UK to play the Reading & Leeds Festivals on August Bank Holiday weekend, and you can check out 'Elektra' and the tracklisting for 'Freedom' below.

'Freedom' Tracklist:
1. Elektra
2. Old Friends / New War
3. Dawkins Christ
4. Françafrique
5. Thought Is Blood

6. War On The Palaces
7. Destroy The Man
8. 366
