Rex Orange County has announced his new album 'Dream Fatigue', arriving on the 6th November alongside an impressive cast of collaborators and a brand-new single, ‘Grandma Song’.
Co-executive produced by Mustafa and Dylan Wiggins, the record represents a significant change in approach for Rex, replacing the relative isolation of previous projects with a far more collaborative creative process. Brendan Yates of Turnstile, Dev Hynes, Daniel Caesar, dexter in the newsagent and Jockstrap's Taylor Skye are among those contributing.
That communal spirit has already spilled onto the stage. He recently performed unreleased album track ‘Elvis’ with Yates at London's Village Underground, joined Ravyn Lenae at All Points East, reunited with Tyler, The Creator for ‘Boredom’ and appeared alongside Caesar at The O2 for their recent collaboration ‘Indecision’.
Now ‘Grandma Song’ provides another glimpse into the album, accompanied by a Montana-shot video featuring an enormous fireworks display.
