Rina Sawayama unveils new track 'Hold The Girl'

With her eagerly-awaited new album landing in the coming months, Rina Sawayama has now unveiled the next cut to be lifted from her forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Hold The Girl' was premiered on Clara Amfo's BBC Radio 1 show last night (27th July), and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'This Hell' and 'Catch Me In The Air' in previewing her sophomore LP, also called 'Hold The Girl', which arrives on the 16th September via Dirty Hit.

Speaking about the new offering, Rina said, “'Hold the Girl' was the first song I wrote for the record at the end of 2020–I had gone to therapy and had a revelation, so I decided to write this song...that was the start of it. I was crying before going into the studio to write about it."
