Not known to shy away from an interesting collaboration, singer Robyn teamed up with keyboardist Markus Jägerstedt and posthumous member Christian Falk to create La Bagatelle Magique, and have now shared their first piece of material.
The new track 'Love Is Free' was premiered on Radio 1 last night (18th June) and sees the singer take on a far more abstract form of dance music.
Explaining the new project, Robyn said, “It’s a band. We started working on this record three years ago. Sadly Christian passed away a year ago, and me and Markus finished this record together. [Christian] was still there, like a ghost in the machine.”
The band are due to make their live debut at Stockholm’s Dans Dakar festival from the 21st-22nd August and are expected to release the rest of the new material sometime this summer.
