rose wallace goldaline, the project of Dublin songwriter Conor Fagan, returns with reflective new single ‘a drop in a dream’.
Written and produced by Fagan, the track finds him revisiting the past with a greater sense of perspective. But rather than becoming consumed by moments that once felt overwhelming, ‘a drop in a dream’ is about accountability, distance and recognising how even the most intense experiences can eventually shrink within the wider scale of a life.
The single continues a productive 2026 for the project following debut EP 'don’t you own the way you go' and May release ‘don’t take this all for granted’, while support from RTÉ and Hot Press has helped bring growing attention to his work.
Intimate, thoughtful and quietly assured, ‘a drop in a dream’ feels like another important step for a songwriter increasingly comfortable turning uncertainty into something clear, human and affecting.
