Inspired by time spent working alongside communities in Sudan, 'South Sudan' reflects on compassion, resilience and humanity’s connection to the natural world. Live strings, expansive instrumentation and her own unmistakable vocal performance combine to create a song that feels both intimate and cinematic, allowing its emotional themes to unfold with quiet power.
Now based in Berlin, where she also founded the Feral Folk Festival, Roxy Rawson has entered a new creative chapter shaped by resilience and reflection.
