Lithuanian electronic producer Rushkeys returns with a captivating rework of muuju’s ‘odeon’, transforming the reflective original into a richly textured journey through melodic electronica.
Marking the latest in a string of vibrant reworkings, the remix takes the emotional foundations of the track and introduces a deeper rhythmic focus, weaving together warm analogue sounds, intricate percussion and immersive electronic atmospheres. The result is a release that feels equally suited to solitary late-night listening and expansive dancefloor moments.
Originally appearing on muuju’s debut EP 'bedforms', ‘odeon’ was inspired by themes of memory, personal transformation and a meaningful experience in Paris. Rushkeys expands upon those ideas, preserving the intimacy of the original while introducing flowing grooves and evolving sonic landscapes that gradually unfold with cinematic precision.
The collaboration also brings together two distinctive voices within contemporary electronic music. Rushkeys, the project of Vilnius-based producer Domas Ruškys, has earned praise for his blend of organic house, downtempo and melodic electronica, while Berlin-based artist muuju continues to explore a more personal and emotionally driven side of his artistry outside of acclaimed duo il:lo.
