Capturing more of that rich and inventive electro-pop aesthetic he has been building for himself since he first emerged, 'easter island' makes for a wonderfully fresh and dreamy listen. With its broad and immersive production layered against his sweeping voice throughout, he is certainly looking to turn some heads with this adventurous new outing.
Despite such a strong and confident run of releases these last few years, 'easter island' still manages to stand out within his dynamic repertoire to date.
