Samia shares new single 'Lizard'

Samia has released her latest song 'Lizard', the second track from her highly anticipated third album 'Bloodless', set for release on the 25th April via Grand Jury Music. The new single follows the previously shared 'Bovine Excision', giving fans another taste of the album’s deeply introspective and sonically rich direction.

'Lizard' glides on bright melodies and teetering synths, carrying an undercurrent of raw emotion. Reflecting on the track, Samia shares, “It’s painful to stay present, to exist as a real, flesh-and-blood person at a party, after existing comfortably as a myth or a memory. And it was even more painful to try not to ruin a party I’d already ruined.”

Recorded between North Carolina and her new home of Minneapolis, 'Bloodless' is the follow-up to her award-winning 2023 album 'Honey'. Produced alongside Caleb Wright and Jake Luppen, with contributions from Christian Lee Hutson and Raffaela, the album is set to showcase Samia’s most layered and emotionally striking work yet.
