Sampa The Great delivers new single 'Heaven'

With her highly-anticipated debut album now just one week away, Sampa The Great has unveiled the next cut to be lifted from her forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Heaven' sees her team up with Whosane for the cut, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Final Form’, ‘OMG’ and ‘Freedom’ in previewing her long-awaited debut album 'The Return', which will arrive on the 13th September via Ninja Tune.

Speaking about her latest offering, she added, “‘Heaven’ is where I detail my encounter with a 'near death experience' or so I thought. With this experience and in most cases for people who experience such, it causes you to change your thinking patterns and evaluate the importance of certain things in your life. ‘Heaven' is the detailing of that stage and the emotions behind it. Sung by the ever talented and beautiful Whosane, along with the most beautiful vocals by my own lil sister, Mwanje"
