Sampa The Great shares new single 'Can't Hold Us'

Zambian visionary Sampa the Great unleashes her electrifying new single 'Can’t Hold Us', marking the beginning of an audacious new chapter. Blending rock, hip-hop, soul, and ancestral rhythms, the track plants a bold flag for Nu Zamrock, Sampa’s self-defined genre reimagining Zambia’s iconic Zamrock sound through her modern lens.

The single, featured in EAFC 26 and accompanied by a powerful visualiser directed by Iggy London, arrives with unmistakable purpose. “This is the declaration track,” Sampa states. “I’ve stepped into my power, my sound, my purpose… You can’t hold us. You can’t stop us. Not anymore.”

Following her recent Brixton debut with DJ AG and the announcement of a free block party in Lusaka on the 22nd November in partnership with Lusaka Thrift Market, Sampa cements her role not only as a global artist but a champion of Zambian creativity and culture.
