Blurring the boundaries between ancient folklore and musical fantasy, SeeD return with 'Wyld Things', a captivating new single that transports listeners into a world of mythical creatures, mystical landscapes and timeless storytelling.
The new track showcases the Netherlands and Ireland-based quintet's extraordinary ability to transform traditional acoustic instrumentation into richly atmospheric musical adventures. Drawing inspiration from Celtic mythology, fairy tales and fantastical worlds reminiscent of The Lord of the Rings and The Dark Crystal, SeeD create a distinctive sound built around expressive vocal harmonies, enchanting flutes, intricate guitars and earthy percussion.
Combining instruments ranging from mandolin and whistles to the unconventional sliding didgeridoo, the band embrace a wonderfully imaginative approach to folk music that feels both ancient and refreshingly original.
'Wyld Things' follows May's release of 'Bloem' and offers an exciting glimpse into the group's forthcoming album, expected in 2027.
