Following on from the release of his brilliant debut single 'CHEMICAL HAIRCUT' earlier this year, Hertfordshire-based artist SHIMASU has returned once again to deliver his breezy new effort 'FOCUS'.
Channelling the warm and vibrant grooves most associated with the likes of Jordan Rakei and Toro y Moi, 'FOCUS' establishes him as a bright and inventive new name emerging on the scene. With its broad and tranquil approach to production, levelled effortlessly with his own atmospheric vocal style, he has a sound that is truly absorbing throughout.
While he is still very much at the beginning of his career so far, it is already clear that SHIMASU has a strong and developed grasp over his sound. Light, airy, and effervescent throughout, we can definitely expect to hear a lot more of what he has to offer in the very near future.
