After following up their much-loved 2022 self-titled debut EP with the stunning comeback single 'Enough' last year, Chicago-based outfit Shining Nothing are back on the grind once again to deliver their woozy new effort 'Heavy'.
Bringing back more of that rich and shimmering indie-rock aesthetic they have been developing since their earliest beginnings, 'Heavy' makes for a beautifully warm and alluring return from the group. With its broad and immersive textures, vibrant atmosphere, and compelling vocals layered throughout, they return to the scene with one of their most passionate offerings yet.
While they may only have a handful of releases under their belt right now, 'Heavy' shows that they are brimming with plenty of fresh and tantalising ideas just waiting to be pursued. With such a strong and confident approach to their direction throughout, we can't wait to hear what else they have in store for us in the months ahead as well.
