After the rousing response to his highly-praised debut album 'The Narrow Coast' last year, Southern California's S.J. Armstrong is back for 2023 to deliver his wonderfully woozy new single 'Summer Sunshine'.
Harnessing more of that warm and breezy indie-rock aesthetic he has become synonymous with of late, 'Summer Sunshine' makes for an incredibly enticing listen. Filled with broad and riveting textures, a sweeping atmosphere, and his own mesmerising voice at the helm, he is continuing to cement himself as one of the more heartfelt names on the rise right now.
While these last few years remained littered with fresh and alluring delights, 'Summer Sunshine' still manages to stand out within his shimmering catalogue to date. With such a fresh and adventurous approach to his sound and direction throughout, we can't wait to hear what else he has in store for us in the months ahead as well.
