Sleater-Kinney return with new single 'Hurry On Home'

Having spent the last few years working on separate projects, Sleater-Kinney have now returned together with a brand new single.

The new track 'Hurry On Home' is the band's first piece of new material since their 2015 album ‘No Cities To Love’, and was produced by Annie Clark aka St. Vincent.

Speaking about their return, the band said, “I think for Carrie and Corin it was liberating to explore a different sound palette,” says drummer Janet Weiss. While vocalist Carrie Brownstein added, “Instead of just going into the studio to document what we’d done, we were going in to explore and to find the essence of something. To dig in deeper.”
