Soccer Mommy shares final single series instalment with SASAMI

Having spent the last few months releasing her new single series two tracks at a time, Soccer Mommy has finally unveiled the final pair of offerings lifted from her new collection 'Soccer Mommy & Friends Singles Series'.

The new tracks see Soccer Mommy take on The Cars’ classic 'Drive', while her latest guest SASAMI performs her own take on the System Of A Down anthem 'Toxicity'. Previous collaborators on the series have included Jay Som, Beabadoobee, and Gentle Dom, a.k.a. Andrew VanWyngarden of MGMT, with each contributing a cover for the release.

Speaking about her latest cut, Soccer Mommy added, “I’m really glad to get to release this cover of Drive. It’s a song I’ve loved for a long time that I started covering pretty recently. It was nice to get to record one last thing in the studio before everything shut down.”

The Bandcamp net profits from the Soccer Mommy & Friends Singles Series will go to Oxfam's COVID-19 relief fund and National Bail Out, to help combat both Coronavirus and the important fight against police brutality and systematic racism. Oxfam has an anonymous donor who will match every dollar raised for them by this series, up to $5000, which will double the impact of your purchase.
