Sports Team announce debut album 'Deep Down Happy'

After a string of impressive releases over the last few months, Sports Team have now returned to announce the details behind their eagerly-awaited debut album.

The new full-length 'Deep Down Happy' will feature the previously shared tracks ‘Kutcher’, ‘The Races’ and ‘Fishing’, is being previewed by the new cut 'Here's The Thing', and is expected to be released on the 3rd April via Island Records.

Speaking about their new record, the band’s Alex Rice said, “I don’t think we were conscious of doing it but the album maps the journey of moving in together in Harlesden, moving back to home towns to sleep on floors for 18 months, then coming back to London, weighing up whether being in a band with your mates, being young in London is still the best thing in the world. I think it probably is.”
