London indie outfit The Sway return with their new single 'Twice In A Lifetime', marking another chapter in the band’s long-running journey, which first began in North London back in 1989.
Originally written and performed live in the mid-1990s, 'Twice In A Lifetime' has finally been captured in the studio for the first time. The updated recording transforms the long-lost track into a polished modern release while preserving the emotional core that made it a favourite among early fans.
Produced by Owen Turner at Sickroom Studios in Norfolk, the single blends classic recording techniques with contemporary production. The result is a sweeping, emotionally charged piece that reflects on themes of love, heartbreak and the possibility of finding connection again after loss.
Featuring David Casson (vocals and guitar), Jim Kook (guitar), Paul Hogan (bass) and Sean Kelly (drums), the band continue to build on the momentum of their 2024 comeback EP 'Songs For Then and Now'. With 'Twice In A Lifetime', The Sway revisit their past while proving their songwriting still resonates decades later.
