Taylor Swift announced as Glastonbury Festival headliner

Following on from a number of legendary names who have already been confirmed for next year's event, Taylor Swift is now set to become the next act to close out Glastonbury Festival.

Announcing the news on Twitter, the dynamic frontwoman will join the Saturday headliner Paul McCartney as she prepares to end the festivities by topping the bill on the Sunday night. So far, only a few other names including Diana Ross and Aerosmith have been confirmed for the 2020 leg of Glastonbury.

Glastonbury Festival will return next year from the 24th-28th June, with the first wave of tickets already sold out. Fans will get another chance to apply in April next year, and you can see Michael Eavis' announcement below.
