With his eagerly-awaited new album set to drop in the coming weeks, Thundercat has now unveiled the next cut to be lifted from his forthcoming full-length.
The new single 'Fair Chance' sees him team up with Ty Dolla $ign and Lil B alongside producer Sounwave, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Dragonball Durag' and 'Black Qualls' in previewing his new LP 'It Is What It Is', which is due out on the 3rd April via Brainfeeder.
Speaking about his latest offering, he said, “This song is about Mac (Miller)… when he passed it shook the ground for the artist community. Ty’s a strong dude and when he heard the song he knew exactly what it should be. I was there when he recorded it. We talked about what it was, and he did what he felt was right to it, and I love what he did".
