Italian alt-rock outfit Total Reverends return with their thought-provoking new single ‘Where Is God’, the latest release from their forthcoming album.
Built around a relentless rhythm section, driving bass work, and atmospheric guitar textures, the track explores one of humanity’s oldest questions through a series of striking contemporary images. Throughout, the song searches for meaning amid everyday struggles, human suffering, lost connections, and moments of vulnerability.
Led by acclaimed musician and songwriter Francesco Forni alongside drummer Piero Monterisi, Total Reverends blend raw rock energy with cinematic storytelling, creating a sound that feels both expansive and deeply personal. ‘Where Is God’ moves between tension and reflection, pairing vivid lyrical snapshots with hypnotic instrumentation that gradually builds in intensity.
The release follows previous single ‘The Revolution Is Inevitable’ and offers another glimpse into the ambitious world of their new album. With its fearless subject matter and powerful musical backdrop, ‘Where Is God’ reinforces Total Reverends’ reputation for crafting music that challenges, provokes, and encourages listeners to look beyond the surface of the world around them.
