UNIVERSITY announce new EP 'YES'

Crewe’s most unpredictable export UNIVERSITY return in full force with news of their new EP 'YES', set to land on the 26th September via Transgressive. Leading the charge is the visceral new single 'Bee', a feral, math-rock spasm that throws open the gates on their latest trip into noise, humour and genre-destruction.

Following the acclaim of their avant-punk debut album 'McCartney, It’ll Be OK', this new three-track fever-dream finds the band pushing even further into chaos. From the convulsing rhythms of 'Bee', to the barbed absurdity of 'Business Secrets Of The Pharaohs', to the sprawling 11-minute closer 'Stones ‘n Jam', 'YES' is unhinged, unfiltered, and unmistakably UNIVERSITY.

“‘Bee’ is what happens when we take ourselves seriously enough to stop taking ourselves seriously,” says frontman Zak Bowker. “We’re trusting our weirdest instincts — and making them louder.”

With explosive riffs, gut-punch dynamics, and a spirit of irreverent invention, UNIVERSITY continue to stand at the edge of UK rock’s future, laughing maniacally into the void. Watch the video for 'Bee' in the player below.
