Crewe’s most chaotic rock export, UNIVERSITY, return with the thunderous 'GTA Online', the third single from their forthcoming debut 'McCartney, It’ll Be OK', out 20th June via Transgressive. Premiered on BBC Radio 1’s Rock Show, the track packs the fuzz-drenched punch of early Biffy Clyro with a cinematic intensity that spirals between mammoth riffs and delicate, melodic introspection.
A band known as much for their cryptic wit as their explosive sound, they describe the track with a surreal flourish: “I tire an old, sick man, tedious dreams of Bosch, oh do not ask what is it. I do not want to know.”
The Nina Dellow-directed video mirrors the song’s unpredictability; raw, analogue, and crackling with kinetic energy. Shaped by spontaneity and true collaboration, 'GTA Online' confirms what fans of UNIVERSITY already know: this band plays by no one’s rules but their own.
