After originally making his mark as one of the main songwriters in his previous outfit, Manchester-based singer-songwriter Ciaran Egan is now ready to go it alone on his new project Untold River with his sweeping debut single 'Sleeping City Cowboy'.
Capturing a wonderfully warm and dreamy mix of country and folk influences from start to finish, 'Sleeping City Cowboy' makes for a brilliantly refreshing listen. With his sweet and serenading voice riding across a bed of rich and euphoric production throughout, he is certainly looking to make a serious initial impact with this one.
Despite it only being his first offering to date, 'Sleeping City Cowboy' is brimming with fresh and inventive ideas far beyond its years. With such a strong and confident approach to his songwriting, we can't wait to hear what he comes back with next.
