Channelling the same warm and textured direction as acts like The xx and Interpol, 'Ghosts Of Sunflowers' makes for a wonderfully rich and alluring listen. Filled with broad and euphoric tones, a soaring atmosphere, and some brilliantly tender vocals layered throughout, they are continuing their pursuit of bold and anthemic aesthetics with this one.
While these last few years have certainly been extremely prolific for the group, 'Ghosts Of Sunflowers' shows that they still have plenty of fresh and powerful ideas in which to explore.
