Vampire Weekend's Chris Baio announces solo album

Vampire Weekend bassist Chris Baio has announced his plans for a new solo album later this year.

Details on the release are currently very limited, but we do know that the album will arrive in the summer and is being released through Glassnote Records.

The label have described the record as “Bowie and Ferry-influenced pop songs and dumbsmart arena techno comfortably coexist” and Baio also plans to tour the album after its release.
