Following on from the release of their much-loved debut LP 'First Stop' last year, Australian outfit The Venus Figurines are back once again to deliver their hotly-tipped sophomore studio album 'Modern Paradigm'.
Featuring the previously shared offerings 'Changing Tides', 'The Real Me' and 'Holiday', this new ten-track makes for an incredible raw and explosive listen. Filled with bold and driven riffs, a soaring atmosphere, and killer hooks layered throughout, 'Modern Paradigm' continues their ascent as one of the more electrifying names on the rise right now.
While these last few years have certainly been an extremely busy time for the four-piece, 'Modern Paradigm' shows that they still have plenty of fresh and inventive ideas in which to pursue. With such a firm and confident grasp over their direction throughout, they are definitely ones to keep an eye on for the months ahead as well.
