Victòria Vilalta releases debut album ‘Out Loud Thoughts’

Catalan singer-songwriter and producer Victòria Vilalta has unveiled her new indie-folk album 'Out Loud Thoughts', a rich, emotionally resonant collection that explores vulnerability, growth, and creative identity. The nine-track release marks a bold step forward for the emerging artist, whose delicate vocals and thoughtful lyricism have already begun to turn heads across Europe.

Blending stripped-back acoustic arrangements with moments of experimental production, 'Out Loud Thoughts' is both intimate and ambitious. Written and recorded in London as part of Vilalta’s master’s in Creative Music Production, the album reflects her evolution as a songwriter and producer, weaving personal reflections into each sonic texture.

Diving into the release, she explains, “‘Out loud thoughts’ was created in London studios. It was self-written and self-produced, relating the songs’ meanings to their sound. It entails collaborations with other musicians in writing some of the tracks and recording most of them. Each song conveys an emotion, ideas or values that are important to me. I always understood music as emotion.”

She adds, “The album was part of my master's in Creative Music Production, and it explores acoustic sounds to processed ones throughout the songs. It was an experimentation of my creative identity through different sounds, expanding the limits of my previous work, which was more acoustic and folk.”

With comparisons to artists like Gracie Abrams, Paolo Nutini, and Amy Allen, Vilalta brings a fresh perspective to the indie-folk landscap. A UK and European tour is planned for 2026, with fans in London, Barcelona, and Olot already familiar with her magnetic live presence.
