Viva Sounds announce next wave of acts

Viva Sounds celebrates five years(!) as a festival! 2-3 of December: Save the date and take the opportunity to secure your place with a ticket right now. There will be 40+ concerts over two evenings, all gathered along Gothenburg's easiest and moonlit promenade in the city centre. Get in for the new music by the new talents and gather around to meet new (and old) people. Winter time in Sweden isn’t all about darkness, there’s always a light in your local live music venue. And during Viva Sounds they all light up at the same time. It’s all about smiles, shows and sticky floors.

"I’m super pleased and excited to celebrate our fifth edition. Gothenburg is a music city in its core and deserves a club festival considering the number of great venues and artists we got here. We go a bit bigger than the previous year, but not too much. We still want to keep the perfect size for everyone to be able to meet, hang put and watch a ton of new artists together,"

says Gustav Påhlsson from Viva Sounds and Westside Music.

New stuff for 2022!

During Viva Sounds 2022 we’ve added three new, superb venues, please welcome Skeppet GBG, Gathenhielmska Huset och Kvartersscenen 2Lång.

The third wave of artists is here! Give it up for:
Spangled (UK), The Dahmers (SE), The Exorcist GBG (SE), Schizophrenia (BE) & Spøgelse (SE)

Punk rock, death disco, death/thrash metal, HC and indie rock - you got it all. Viva Sounds 2022 will be the strongest edition so far - aiming to please you all. Come celebrate live music, dancing and just having a great time. Things will light up.
