Capturing more of that broad and immersive alt-rock aesthetic they are known for, 'Bell Jar / Devil Built a Home Where You Once Prayed' makes for a dazzling return to form for them. While 'Bell Jar' offers a warm and emotive direction, 'Devil Built a Home Where You Once Prayed' sees them conjure a far darker tone, showcasing the duality the band have always looked to produce within their sound.
While it has certainly been a long time since they last shared any new material, 'Bell Jar / Devil Built a Home Where You Once Prayed' shows they are still brimming with plenty of fresh and exciting ideas in which to explore.
