L.A.-based rock outfit White Denim have released their latest single 'Hired Hand #2', offering another preview of their upcoming album '13', due on the 24th April via Bella Union.
The upbeat track follows the earlier single '(God Created) Lock and Key' and showcases the band’s signature fusion of styles. Rooted in country-blues swagger, 'Hired Hand #2' blends stomping rhythms with playful melodic hooks, delivering a groove-forward sound that reflects White Denim’s eclectic approach to songwriting.
'13' marks the band’s first new album in several years and continues their long-running tradition of genre-blending experimentation. Spanning rock, funk, soul, dub and blues textures, the record also addresses heavier themes including power dynamics, generational trauma and resilience, while reaffirming the importance of family and creative independence.
