Following its milestone tenth anniversary in 2025, the Winchendon Music Festival is set to return for its eleventh edition with a stellar program of classical, jazz, and world music in early 2026. Founded by acclaimed musician Andrew Arceci to honour his late father, the festival has grown into a celebrated cultural event in Massachusetts, bringing international talent to local stages.
Highlights include performances by the Worcester Chorus, conducted by Chris Shepard (January 23–24), and Capella Alamire under Peter Urquhart the following day. More concerts are planned for April.
True to its mission, the non-profit series continues to offer mostly free events, encouraging community members to explore diverse sounds and genres. With Arceci’s global credentials and the festival’s commitment to accessibility, WMF remains a vibrant cultural force for North Central Massachusetts.
