Yard Act share new single 'New Beginnings'

Yard Act have unveiled ‘New Beginnings’, the second single from their highly anticipated third album 'You’re Gonna Need A Little Music', arriving on the 17th July via Island Records.

Following the darker edge of previous preview ‘Redeemer’, the Leeds outfit shift the mood with a vibrant, life-affirming track that celebrates personal growth and the excitement of moving forward. Built around the idea of embracing change rather than resisting it, ‘New Beginnings’ finds the band at their most optimistic while retaining the sharp lyrical perspective that has become their trademark.

The single arrives ahead of what promises to be a landmark album for the quartet. Recorded between Leeds and Los Angeles with acclaimed producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen, the record marks the first time Yard Act have created an album together in the studio as a full band. Freed from the interruptions of relentless touring, they immersed themselves in months of uninterrupted creativity, producing an abundance of new material and pushing their sound into exciting new territory.
